A little about who I am...

Photography has been apart of my life since I was born. My grandpa was always taking photos of me growing up. Posing me all over his yard and capturing so many memories for me. My father always had a camera or camcorder in his hands so I like to say I developed my love for photography from him. Actually he is the one who bought my first camera...compact and SLR...Canon of course!  There are some photos of me carrying around an empty film camera as a child but I never thought I would still be holding one...most of the time I have a memory card in it ;) I believe that God gives us ALL many talents but sometimes it takes a long time for us to see those gifts. For me it took 20 years which isn't bad but I bounced around from wanting to be a veterinarian, chef, social worker and race car driver. I'm thankful for my family and most definite my best friend Robert who has been pushing me to follow my dreams. When you're discouraged about your future, it's so important to have someone to have your back. Thank you Rob!

Now onto the fun facts about Brookie!...yes you may call me that

I grew up in the "country" where I learned to navigate the woods better than the roads. Most likely this is the reason why I love animals so much. A dream of mine is to one day own a cat sanctuary...yeah I'm that crazy cat lady...don't hate. I love my fur babies...Besides cats, I love owls which I call Hooties, Otters and Foxes.

I love food...Pizza, wings, soft pretzels, chicken parm hoagies and actually anything with red sauce! I always wanted to be a food photographer but I fear I will be 900lbs from sampling the products! I love to cook and bake but what Italian doesn't?

Cars...mmm yes. They fascinate me. I love them all really! You can say that is my absolute favorite subject to photograph. I've been known to hit just about every car show in the area. My goal is to make it into car advertisements for magazines and such. I think my heart would stop if I was ever approached by a major car manufacturer.

I HATE CLOWNS...that's all I'll say about that.
